Cutimed Siltec silicone foam dressings are sterile, absorbent polyurethane foams with a silicone-coated wound contact layer. They provide reliable exudate management while protecting the periwound skin and offering gentle, atraumatic dressing changes for a wide range of wounds.

Product Features & Benefits

• Gentle to wound bed: The perforated silicone wound contact layer prevents adhesion to newly formed tissue, aiding painless dressing removals and reducing trauma to the wound margins.
• Water-repellent, breathable backing: The outer film is bacteria-proof and helps fluid evaporation, supporting comfort as the dressing saturates.
• Can be cut to size: Easily trim the dressing for a precise, snug fit around the wound edges.
• Reliable exudate management: Vertical absorption and superabsorbent stripes lock exudate inside the dressing, even under compression.
• Skin-friendly: Formulated to minimize skin irritation and allergies for improved wearer comfort.
• Indications: Suitable for exuding wounds such as venous and arterial ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical incisions, skin grafts and donor sites, as well as lacerations or abrasions.
• Wear time: Can remain in place for up to 7 days, with an initial recommendation to change daily (every 24 hours) and adjust frequency as conditions evolve.
• Sterile, box of 10: Each box contains 10 dressings in sizes 5 cm x 6 cm and 10 cm x 10 cm for versatile wound coverage.
