Nutricia Kindergen is a nutritionally complete powdered feed designed for infants and children with chronic renal failure. Unflavoured and formulated for renal nutrition, it supports medical dietary needs under professional supervision.

• Energy and protein: 1 kcal per ml (20% w/v) with 1.5 g of protein per 100 ml (20% w/v).
• Renal-friendly composition: Low in potassium, chloride, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin A to assist dietary management in renal conditions.
• Complete nutrition: Contains whey protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins, minerals and trace elements to support growth and daily needs.
• Renal solute load: Designed with a potential renal solute load of 235 mOsm/L.
• Form and use: Unflavoured formula suitable as a sole source of nutrition for infants under 1 year and as a supplement for young children.
• Preparation guidance: Four level scoops (20 g) mixed with 84 ml of water to achieve the recommended 20% w/v concentration; a lower concentration may be required at first as tolerated.
• Medical supervision: Must be used under medical supervision; follow the preparation instructions on the can; powdered infant formula is not sterile and should be prepared immediately prior to feeding; not for parenteral use.
• Indications: Suitable as a sole nutrition source for infants and as a supplement for young children, including contexts where peritoneal rapid overnight dialysis (PROD) or continuous cycling peritoneal dialysis (CCPD) is required.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place; replace the container lid after use; once opened, use within one month.
• Additional fluid guidance: Additional water may be needed to ensure adequate fluid intake.
