The Activheal Alginate Rope Dressing is a calcium alginate wound dressing designed to absorb exudate and maintain a moist wound environment, promoting faster healing. This box contains five ropes, each individually sealed for sterility.

• Material: Calcium alginate fibers derived from brown seaweeds.
• How it works: In contact with wound exudate, the rope transforms into a soft gel, supporting a moist environment and protecting the wound from drying out.
• Absorption and moisture management: Highly absorbent, capable of absorbing up to 20 times its weight in wound exudate, which helps reduce pain and inflammation while supporting cellular migration and granulation tissue development.
• Versatility: Flexible and conforms to the wound bed, suitable for shallow to deep wounds and for filling cavities or deep wound spaces.
• Safety and infection control: Individually sealed ropes maintain sterility; suitable for both infected and non-infected wounds, including chronic wounds such as diabetic ulcers and pressure ulcers.
