Melgisorb Plus is a highly absorbent wound dressing designed to manage large volumes of exudate. As it absorbs, the alginate fibres form a soft, moist gel that supports a healing environment, and the gel can be easily irrigated away with 0.9% saline. The dressing is soft, pliable, conformable, and can be cut to fit cavity or flat wounds. It is non-sensitising and suitable for a wide range of wounds, whether infected or non-infected.
