Cutimed Sorbact Compress Dressing is a DACC-coated, non-absorbent wound contact layer that binds bacteria and fungi, letting wound exudate pass into a secondary dressing while supporting traditional wound care without antibiotics.

Product Features & Benefits

• Technology: Sorbact binding technology irreversibly binds bacteria, fungi and endotoxins, with no active agents released into the wound.
• Material & Design: Non-absorbent wound contact layer that conforms to the wound bed and is sterile, easy to cut to size, and suitable as a liner or wound filler.
• Sizes: Available in 4 cm x 6 cm, 7 cm x 9 cm, and 10 cm x 100 cm (roll) formats to accommodate a range of wound shapes and areas.
• Usage with NPWT: Can be used as a filler or liner in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), providing effective exudate distribution without tissue ingrowth.
• Indications: Suitable for managing clean, contaminated, colonized or infected exuding wounds, including surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and leg ulcers (superficial or deep).
• Wear time: If the clinical condition allows, the dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days.
