Cutimed Sorbact Ribbon Gauze is a sterile dressing designed to manage exuding wounds while actively binding bacteria and fungi to support cleaner, faster healing. Built on Sorbact technology, it functions as a wound filler that allows exudate to pass into a secondary dressing and helps reduce bioburden.

Product Features & Benefits

• Brand and technology – Sorbact Ribbon Gauze uses DACC-coated binding to capture bacteria and fungi without releasing active substances, helping to lower infection risk and support healing.
• Wound care performance – Acts as a wound filler and permits exudate to pass into a secondary dressing, with soft, conformable gauze that adapts to the wound bed. Suitable for use in compression therapy when appropriate.
• Indications for use – Applicable to clean, contaminated, colonized or infected wounds, including surgical and trauma wounds, ulcers, and cavities; also indicated for fungal infections in skin folds (intertrigo).
• Sizes – Available in two practical dimensions: 2 cm x 50 cm (box of 20) and 5 cm x 200 cm (box of 10), to fit a range of wound shapes and areas.
• Usage and wear – Sterile, disposable dressing with a wear time typically up to 7 days, depending on exudate levels and wound condition; can be cut to size and used with a secondary dressing.
